Recycling is easy and free of charge. It helps to conserve natural resources and reduce the amount of waste deposited in landfills.

The Recycling and Solid Waste Disposal Facility is conveniently located in Shelbyville near I-64 and Taylorsville Road.
We are open 7 am – 3 pm Tuesday through Saturday except holidays.

Our Services
We accept both recyclable and non-recyclable materials. Recycling is free and there is a small fee for non-recyclables. It’s easy, economical, and available to everyone. Tire disposal is for Shelby County residents only and tires must be less than 42 inches tall.
